This website collects some personal information. This page explains what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and what you can ask about it.
Information collected
When you fill out the speaking request form, the following is collected: your name, your email address, your organization if applicable, the proposed date and location, a budget indication, and the content of your message.
When you simply visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records your IP address, the date and time of your visit and the pages viewed. This information is used to operate and secure the site.
No payment is processed on this site, and no banking information is collected or stored.
No health information is collected. This site presents a professional background and a speaking offer. It provides no medical or pharmaceutical advice and opens no patient file.
An audience measurement tool, Google Analytics, records the pages viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and an estimate of the region you connect from. Your IP address is not retained there, and Google's advertising features are turned off: this measurement is used to know which pages are useful, and nothing else. You can refuse it by installing the opt-out add-on provided by Google, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The YouTube channel player, present on the home page and on the podcast page, is provided by Google. The site uses YouTube's no-cookie mode: no advertising cookie is placed unless you start a video. Your IP address is still sent to Google when the page loads, in order to load the player.
Why it is collected
- To respond to your speaking requests and questions.
- To prepare an engagement with you: topic, date, location, audience, conditions.
- To operate, secure and back up the site.
Your information is never sold, rented or traded, and is not shared with anyone else unless required by law.
How long it is kept
- Requests received through the form: 5 years after the last exchange.
- Server logs: kept by the hosting provider according to its own technical retention periods.
After those periods, the information is destroyed.
Where your information is hosted
This site and its backups are hosted outside Quebec, in the United States.
The information collected is limited to professional contact details and event particulars. It contains no health, financial or biometric information. Given its nature, it receives adequate protection with the hosting provider: exchanges are encrypted, access is restricted, and backups are automated.
Audience measurement data and video player data are processed by Google, also outside Quebec. They contain neither your name, nor your contact details, nor the content of your messages.

How it is protected
- Exchanges between your browser and the site are encrypted.
- Administrative access to the site is restricted and individually assigned.
- The site is backed up automatically and updated regularly.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you may access the information held about you, have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, withdraw your consent to its use, and request its deletion in the cases provided by law.
You will receive a response within 30 days of your request.
